Urgent: Calls Needed to Defend Colorado Children

“Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.” Isaiah 60:18

Next week, on March 11, 2025, a critical bill is being heard in the House Judiciary Committee, HB25-1073, Protections Against Child Rape. We thank Rep. Brandi Bradley (R-District 39) for introducing this bill. As the State Director of Concerned Women for America of Colorado, I will testify on your behalf.

Bill summary: Requires a court to sentence offenders of sexual assault on a child, as defined in current Colorado law, and prohibits a court from sentencing offenders to probation as now occurs in Colorado.

Action Needed:

  • Please call or email the members of the House Judiciary Committee with your thoughts on this bill and why it MUST pass. Tell them you are being kept up to date by Concerned Women for America of Colorado.
  • Consider attending the hearing with me to show support for the bill and pray during the hearing. Meet me in the Capitol Building in room HCR 0107, basement level, at 1:30 p.m. Please get in touch with me if you hope to attend.
  • Consider signing up to testify as a citizen of Colorado who wants to protect our children from this egregious crime. Click here for more information.

Please Pray: “Father, God, only one high God, we intercede for the children of Colorado and ask Your hand of protection on them. We ask You to give wisdom and courage to each member of the committee. May hearts be moved to vote for righteousness for our children. We ask Your hand of protection on the Representatives who have crafted this bill. Give them strength to speak Truth to the environment. We ask that your righteous justice be served through this bill passing. In the name of Jesus, Amen.”
