Urgent Action Needed: Stand up for the Unborn of Virginia

By January 10, 2025Virginia

“Withhold not good from them to whom it is due when it is in the power of your hand to do it.” – Proverbs 3:27

Stand up for the unborn who are powerless to represent themselves.

Please take immediate action regarding a RADICAL Abortion Constitutional Amendment being imminently considered by the legislators in Virginia.

Both the House Constitutional Amendment HJ1 and the Senate version SJ247 would allow abortion through all nine months of pregnancy for ANY reason.

The broad language of the bill modeled after the Michigan Constitutional Amendment lends itself to the following radical implications:

  • No limit on abortion (through 9 months), including partial birth abortion
  • Elimination of parental rights
  • Taxpayer funding of abortion
  • No conscience protection (i.e. medical personnel forced to perform abortions)
  • Gender mutilation/sterilization
  • Abortion Sanctuary status for Virginia
  • Tax-exempt status removal for clergy that oppose abortion
  • Legal shields for the abortion industry for harms done to women (which encourages the cutting of corners for profit’s sake)

The Virginia House of Delegates is anticipated to vote on HJ1 as early as Tuesday, January 14, as this amendment is viewed as URGENT by the pro-abortion legislators in Virginia.

The Virginia Senate Privilege and Elections Committee is anticipated to vote on  SJ247 as early as Tuesday, January 14, as well.
