University of Hawaii Recruits Minors to Abort Babies in Name of ‘Scientific’ Research

Please support the opposition to abortion research here in Hawaii by attending a rally on the University of Hawaii Campus in Manoa. This is currently an ongoing research project, and it needs to be stopped right now.

This study at the University of Hawaii is seeking to abort babies at 18-24 weeks gestation, putting mothers at a high risk of complications and even death. They are seeking 166 volunteers between the ages of 14 and 50.

The state of Hawaii does not have any laws placing restrictions on abortion. Abortions are legal at any time and for whatever reason.

The study is currently under way at the Kapiolani Medical Center in Honolulu, led by Bliss Kaneshiro and Kate Whitehouse. The center does not mention if they do abortions on their website nor does it mention they are housing this study and aborting possibly viable babies.

The University of Hawaii needs to stop this study immediately. They are recruiting children to abort their own children in late-term abortions, a very risky procedure that ends the life of at least one person. There are other ways to test the ability of a specific drug to stop hemorrhaging than taking the life of an innocent child and putting its mother at risk for possibly severe physical, mental and emotional complications.

Please Join Students for Life, CWA of Hawaii and others at the Rally on May 7, at 3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m. on the campus of the University of Manoa. View flyer with details as well as a map of the location of the rally and parking.
