Trump Trial Decision: “A Sham and Shameful"

Former President will never get fair treatment from biased judges and the media bent on his destruction

Washington, D.C. – Today, Penny Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, blasted the decision in the New York trial of the 45th President of the United States and Republican presidential nominee, Donald J. Trump.

“This trial has been a sham from the beginning. District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan are not interested in justice; they are interested in embarrassing and harassing Donald Trump but have certainly not proven their case,” said Nance. “At every turn, they have circumvented the law and distorted the evidence to make sure they convicted President Trump of something, no matter what it was.

“This trial has done a great disservice to our country. The shameful actions of the DA, this political activist judge, and his apparatchiks in the media have shaken Americans’ confidence in a fair and just legal system. This is much bigger than President Trump; they are damaging the rule of law. This decision is a travesty that will haunt our nation long after Donald Trump is gone. The hundreds of thousands of women of CWA pray a swift appeal overturns this great injustice for the good of the country.”
