Time to Stand Up to Radical Racist Bullies in our Streets

President must speak with moral clarity that the U.S. will NOT abandon Israel, the hostages, or its duty to defeat terrorism

Washington, D.C. – Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, condemned the radical protests taking place at the White House, in U.S. cities, and on college campuses around the country. CWA called on President Joe Biden to stand up to the bullies, back Israel, and get the hostages home.

“When the country has needed moral clarity and a resolve to destroy Hamas terrorists in the Middle East,  Joe Biden has allowed a sickness and a Jew hatred to fester in this country that has softened our determination to help our friends,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President of CWA.

“The United States has a moral obligation and a strategic one to help our closest ally in the region and give them the tools they need to defeat the terrorists who brutalized and murdered their citizens and against a terrorist regime that has vowed to destroy Israel.

“President Biden’s sanctimonious lectures to Israel without the same condemnation of Hamas has signaled to Iran, the protestors, and the world that the U.S. has weakened its support for our greatest ally and friend. His rhetoric and his actions have put lives at risk.

“Biden said at the D-Day ceremony on Thursday that the U.S. will always stand up to bullies. Well, it’s time he did it, including these Jew hating radicals in our streets.

“We are praising God that four hostages are alive and were released today, which means the mission of the Israeli Defense Forces is focused on saving lives. If only President Biden had this same resolve to rescue the hostages and defeat terrorism.”

Support for Israel is one of CWA’s seven core issues. CWA has connected families of the October 7 hostages with Members of Congress and its Young Women for America (YWA) leaders have been holding prayer vigils for Israel on college campuses and at civic centers around the country to focus attention on the suffering of the Jewish people.
