The Fiery Pro-Life Speech You Have to See

By January 27, 2014Blog, News and Events

As pro-lifers, we are sadly used to our news-worthy stories being either ignored by the media or having the scope downplayed. It’s not often our efforts are touted on a major television news outlet, but last Wednesday, Brit Hume may have been the game-changer.

Fox News’ political analyst Brit Hume, who was featured on Bret Baier’s Special Report, gave a fiery pro-life speech that condemned the idiocy of abortion that is gaining a lot of attention.

“[Jan. 22, 2014 was] the 41st anniversary of the day the Supreme Court found that a generalized right to privacy it had basically invented meant that a women has a Constitutional right to snuff out an unborn life,” Hume said. “A human being with a beating heart.”

Sen. Ted Cruz (R – Texas) posted the video on his YouTube page Wednesday evening after it aired, and the video has now reached over one hundred thousand views.

“The moral case for allowing such beings to be killed grows ever weaker,” Hume said. “And its advocates resort to ever more absurd euphemisms to describe what they support.”

We now know that at 20-weeks fetus’ can feel pain, acknowledge their mother’s voice, hiccup and grow hair. However, Hume said if science could tell us that the unborn can feel pain even from the beginning that the support behind abortion would crumble.

“The biggest chain of abortion clinics in the country refers to itself as Planned Parenthood. In 2012, this organization said it carried out [sic] ‘abortion procedures 329, 445 times.’ Whatever that number represents, it’s not parenthood.”

We agree with you, Brit. Thank you for speaking up for life and speaking out on what most media figures seems to think is commendable. You can view the rest of the video below.
