S. 3772, “The Paycheck Fairness Act,” is yet another piece of legislation presenting itself as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. This is a bill that could potentially kill many jobs under the guise of promoting equality for women.

The feminist left claims that women are discriminated against in the workforce and are therefore entitled to taxpayer money to fund advocacy groups to train women to be more confident and assertive in the workforce. This also encourages and prepares them to sue employers for discrimination.

This legislation does little to nothing to defend and help women in the workforce but mostly benefits lawyers who would be raking in the money to defend women who choose to sue employers based on the premise that they are discriminated against. Employers would be forced to disclose pay information for their employees to prove that they are not “discriminating” against women. Frivolous lawsuits would clog an already burdened judicial system.

Senator Harry Reid (D-Nevada) has already filed a cloture motion on the bill and has scheduled a vote for THIS</b
