“We, the people of the state of Iowa, grateful to the Supreme Being for the blessings hitherto enjoyed, and feeling our dependence on Him for a continuance of those blessings, do ordain and establish a free and independent government, by the name of the STATE OF IOWA …”
-Constitution of the State of Iowa Preamble

Our mission at CWA of Iowa is for Godly, committed men and women to come together to pray for our state leaders. We are engaged in a culture war to restore and strengthen the traditional family to its created purpose.

Prayer/Action Chapters

A Prayer/Action Chapter is a group of people who meet, usually once a month, to pray, learn, and take action regarding legislation that falls under CWA’s seven core issues. Click here to find a Prayer/Action Chapter in your area and learn more.

Home Team

A Home Team Captain does not hold meetings. Instead, they forward legislative information they receive from CWA to the members of their Home Team and encourage them to pray, learn, and take action on the issues.

Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is led by the director and provides the support she needs in order to carry out the many functions of a state or area organization.
