With the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) recent rule change authorizing retail pharmacies to sell abortion drugs with a prescription, Walgreens and CVS were quick to announce that they would plan to sell the dangerous chemical abortion regimen to the public.
However, after nearly two dozen Republican Attorneys General contacted Walgreens and CVS threatening legal action, Walgreens has indicated it will NOT dispense the dangerous regimen or plan to ship it in 20 states. Following this decision, abortion activists have launched their own boycotts against Walgreens.
While we applaud Walgreens for deciding not to pursue distributing the abortion pill in various states, we encourage them to make this the case in every state. We call on both CVS and Walgreens to function as pharmacies by prioritizing health and providing medications that sustain and strengthen life at all stages, NOT by jeopardizing women and killing the children in their wombs.
Like these Republican Attorneys General, we encourage YOU to make your voice heard and urge these top retail pharmacies to abstain from selling the abortion pill in general.
Tell CVS TODAY that as long as they decide to operate as abortion facilities, you cannot and will not choose to do business with them.
