Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-Hawaii) is on the Judiciary Committee and has the responsibility of advise and consent on nominations. She cancelled her meeting last week with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as a political statement against President Trump. This is rude and irresponsible. Sen. Hirono should give Brett Kavanaugh the courtesy of a meeting and perform her duties for the people of Hawaii.
This confirmation is too important for political games, Hawaiians expect more.
