Prayer is Making a Difference in Colorado

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.”
James 5:16

On behalf of Concerned Women for America (CWA) and Colorado, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for your faithful prayers for Colorado throughout our fall prayer effort, Nothing Without the Deity. Prayer truly changes things, and we are thankful to each of you who participated in this effort.

Colorado has experienced several significant developments in 2025, and we believe these are clear reminders of God’s mercy and His attentiveness to the prayers of His people. Here is a brief recap of just a few answers to prayer:

  1. Prayer for the governor and his administration has brought renewed attention to the imprisonment of Tina Peters.
  2. The Drip Café story has helped expose the persecution of Christian businesses in Colorado, which started a decade ago with Jack Phillips and the Masterpiece Cake Shop.
  3. A precedent-setting Colorado Springs case, Chiles vs Salazar, involving First Amendment rights for a school counselor to offer guidance to youth struggling with gender identity in a way that aligns with God’s design, is now being heard by the U.S. Supreme Court.

These victories remind us just how merciful our God is and how powerfully He responds when His people pray. Thank you for your steadfast faith and your continued trust in God as we seek revival in Colorado!

Please continue in prayer for Colorado. Prayer is the foundation of all that CWA does as we boldly share Truth.
