Prayer for the Nation Event at the Republican National Convention Monday, July 15, at 2:30 p.m.

Kick-off to a week of prayer for healing, restoration, and a peaceful election season

Washington, D.C.  –  Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, announced it will be holding prayer events every day at the Republican National Convention to pray for the nation in light of the assassination attempt of former President Donald Trump at a political rally on Saturday.

Monday, July 15, 2024
Event: Prayer for the Nation Event
Time:  2:30 p.m.
Location:
She Prays She Votes Bus
Convention Fest Complex
Republican National Convention

“We call on Americans of every political party to join together in prayer for President Trump and the people of Pennsylvania as they grapple with the attempted assassination of the President, a fatality, and other injuries. The vitriol against President Trump has turned into real violence. Innocent lives have been lost. It’s time for those who love our country to kneel and pray, thanking God for His mercy and asking for His favor.

“Our perfectly named bus tour begins at this prayer event tomorrow in Milwaukee. Our message to the nation stamped on the side of our pink bus says it all: She Prays, She Votes. Scripture gives us the roadmap: ‘If My people, who are called by My name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.’ Our nation needs healing and restoration, and we will welcome all to join us in prayer.”

Prayer events will take place every day at the Republican National Convention at 2:30 p.m. at the Concerned Women for America bus. Teamed with Patriot Mobile, the She Prays She Votes bus tour will then head to key election states like Michigan, Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, and Montana. CWA is making stops in 12 states to encourage Christian women to pray for the nation, to get to the polls November 5, and to work as election poll workers and watchers.

Since its inception in 1979, CWA has engaged women in every state to get involved and take action. This year’s She Prays She Votes bus tour will be the fifth in CWA’s history and the most robust.
