“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14

I want to invite you to a time of united prayer and praise as we reflect upon this past year concerning COVID-19, the confirmation of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, successful pro-life policies, the presidential election, and more. We will also pray for America’s future. We will pray for the upcoming U.S. Senate runoff races in Georgia on January 5, 2021, determining which party controls the U.S. Senate.  We will pray for God’s blessing and guidance for whoever our president and vice president will be.

CWA’s CEO and President Penny Nance recently stated, “The news media does not get to call the election. We will let the legal process play out, and if former Vice President Biden is the winner, we will congratulate him, pray for him, and engage him to do the right thing on the issues about which we care.” Please read the press release in its entirety here.

We will meet at the corner of State and Capitol Streets, across from the Blaine House (192 State St, Augusta), this Saturday, November 14, at 4:30 p.m. Bring a lawn chair and cell phone or candle.

Please send this e-alert to friends and family and bring them along to pray too.

Please Pray:  Dear Father, You say in your word that an effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much, so I ask that you send Your people out to pray corporately for our communities, state, and nation. We seek Your will for us individually and as a nation. In Jesus’ Name. Amen

State Director
