StayAlert_pennyThe following statement can be attributed to Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) President and CEO Penny Young Nance on tonight’s historic midterm elections:

Tonight’s election has been a resounding rejection of President Obama’s liberal policies. America is tired of an economy in which 3.7 million more women live in poverty, a foreign policy that has made the world less safe and social policy that threatens religious liberties. Concerned Women for America looks forward to working with a new Congress to pass common sense legislation that frees up businesses to hire workers, creates energy independence and social policy that protects the right to conscience and life. Congratulations to tonight’s winners. Now get to work.
