Penny Nance to Join Pastor Jack Hibbs for Stand with Israel Prayer Event

Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills, California, to host event Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Washington, D.C.  –  Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA) announced it is joining Calvary Chapel Pastor Jack Hibbs and his congregation for a Stand with Israel Prayer Vigil at its Chino Hills, California, campus on Wednesday, November 29 at 7 p.m. (PST) during its Wednesday night worship service.

CWA and its Young Women for America (YWA) leaders have been holding prayer vigils for Israel on college campuses and at civic centers around the country to focus attention on the suffering of the Jewish people and victims of the horrific terrorist attacks on October 7, 2023.

While antisemitism is on the rise and major cities around the country continue to see pro-terrorist sympathies on the rise, the vigils have united Jews and Christians in prayer for Israel and for peace and justice in the Middle East as more hostages have been released from captivity by Hamas.

Below are the details of the vigil:

Who:
Jack Hibbs, Senior and Founding Pastor of Calvary Chapel, Chino Hills                  Penny Nance, CEO and President of CWA|
Marty Goetz, Emmy-nominated musician

What: Stand with Israel Prayer Vigil & Worship Service

When: Wednesday, November 29, 2023, 7:00 p.m. (PST)

Where: Calvary Chapel Church, 4201 Eucalyptus Ave., Chino Hills, CA 91710

“We are so excited to join Pastor Hibbs who has been an outspoken advocate for our Jewish brothers and sisters,” said Penny Nance. “At this critical time, the church must be united in its stand for Israel and against the demonic forces that would try to destroy its people. We recognize the special covenant that God made with the Jewish people, and we are instructed in the Bible to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We are fulfilling our calling by holding this important prayer event.”
