Pennsylvania: Help Us Ensure Election Integrity

The 2024 elections are upon us, and we need your help to ensure that every eligible vote counts in Pennsylvania! Here are ways to engage:

  1. Serve as challengers and watchers during early voting and on Election Day. Reach out to your local Republican or Democrat parties for information on qualifications and how to apply.
  2. Serve as Officer of Elections/Election Officer (poll workers.) Learn about Officers of Elections in Pennsylvania and how to apply here. Use can also use the poll worker lookup tool to find information on being a poll worker in your community, including requirements, hours, pay, training, and more.
  3. Ensure Pennsylvanians are registered to vote. We have made it easy for you. Download our Conducting a Voter Registration Drive: Instructions and Helpful Tips.

Election Dates

Primary Election

  • April 8, 2024 – Last day to REGISTER before the primary
  • April 16, 2024 – Last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot
  • April 23, 2024 – Last day for County Board of Elections to receive completed mail-in and civilian absentee ballots (must be received by 8:00 P.M.)
  • April 23, 2024 – GENERAL PRIMARY (polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. EST)
  • April 30, 2024 – Last day for County Board of Elections to receive completed military and overseas absentee ballots (submitted for delivery no later than 11:59 P.M. on April 22.

General Election

  • October 21, 2024 – Last day to REGISTER before the November election
  • October 29, 2024 – Last day to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot
  • November 5, 2024 – Last day for County Board of Elections to receive completed mail-in and civilian absentee ballots (must be received by 8:00 P.M.)
  • November 5, 2024 – GENERAL ELECTION (polls open at 7:00 A.M. and close at 8:00 P.M. EST)
