Now Available: CWA of South Dakota’s Fall 2025 Newsletter

Legislative Liaison Lisa Gennaro and I attended the Concerned Women for America (CWA) Leadership Summit in Washington, D.C., in September. The three-day event was jam-packed with a Capitol Hill Lobby Day, praise and worship, training on our specific roles, and great speakers, including Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-Louisiana), Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tennessee), Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, Eric Metaxas, and many more.

Our theme Scripture verse for the Summit was Isaiah 54:2:

 “Enlarge the place of your tent, stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back;
lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.”

We were challenged to enlarge our influence within our unique spheres, to be inspired to press on without holding back, and to be strengthened for the endeavors yet to come—always remembering the reason behind it all: For His Glory.

I now challenge you in the same way. It’s time to “enlarge the place of your tent …” Two of many ways you can do this through the ministry of CWA of South Dakota are by reading our Fall Newsletter with articles that will challenge you to pray and to act. Then, sign up to be part of our Encourage-A-Legislator (EAL) Program.
