North Dakota “Gender Identity” Bill Jeopardizes Religious Liberty

By March 17, 2015North Dakota

This is an important legislative alert! Please take action this week!

On February 27, SB 2279, which relates to “prohibition of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation”, passed in the Senate with a vote of 25 to 22. It is now scheduled to be heard in the House Human Services Committee on Monday, March 23. This bill would designate sexual orientation and gender identity as a privileged group. The bill has no exemptions for those with personal convictions, thereby forcing individuals to accept and support sexual behaviors with which they disagree. CWA of North Dakota Opposes SB 2279.
