NARAL of Montana Misrepresenting CPCs

By April 1, 2014Montana

Information You Need to Know:

NARAL of Montana has planned an event at the Lewis and Clark library in Helena today, April 1, 2014, at 5:30 p.m.

Per the NARAL Montana Facebook page: “There has been a lot of discussion about crisis pregnancy centers recently. Join us TUESDAY at the Lewis & Clark Library for a screening of 12th & Delaware for an inside glimpse of what goes on behind the scenes.” Click here to watch movie trailer.

NARAL of Montana is an organization that is part of a national campaign to close down all abortion-alternative choices for women across the nation. This event is an attempt to distort the truth about what pregnancy centers provide to their communities.

Clinics like Options Women’s Clinic are the target of this documentary. Options Women’s Clinic, a pregnancy medical clinic in Helena, operates under the direction and supervision of a Medical Director who is a licensed physician. Options Women’s Clinic operates under the highest ethical and medical standards and is compliant with federal and Montana state regulations and is becoming accredited with the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).

THE LIE: Options Women’s Clinic is not a legitimate medical clinic.

THE FACT: Options Women’s Clinic is a nonprofit community-based ambulatory care medical clinic that employs trained and licensed medical professionals. These medical professionals perform medical services under the direction and supervision of a Medical Director who is a local physician licensed to practice medicine in Montana. Options Women’s Clinic provides medically accurate information about pregnancy and other related reproductive health issues as instructed by our Medical Director.

WHAT YOU CAN DO:

PRAY – that the misleading propaganda that could do harm to Options Women’s Clinic, a much-needed and respected non-profit in the Helena community, and other facilities like it across the country would fall on deaf ears.

SUPPORT – Call and encourage the staff of your local pregnancy resource center. Let them know that you support the work they are doing in providing women with an alternative to abortion.

ATTEND – If you live in the Helena area, attend the video presentation and make your concerns known if there is an opportunity to do so. Watch for this presentation to come to your town and attend if it does.
