MEDIA ADVISORY:

Presidential Candidate Promises to Protect the Dignity of Women in Law and Policy

Mike Pence joins Trump, Haley, and Vivek in signing CWA Pledge to Women

Washington, D.C. Today, Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, is proud to announce that former Vice President of the United States Mike Pence has signed CWA’s Presidential Promise to American Women that defines a woman and pledges to protect their rights in law and policy. Pence joins former President Donald Trump, entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, and former Ambassador Nikki Haley who have also signed the pledge.

“President Biden has made it clear that he favors the less than one percent of Americans who identify as transgender to the majority of the population that are women,” said Penny Nance, CEO and President of CWA. “Women’s rights are being trampled while men invade women’s spaces in shelters, prisons, housing, and sports. These four candidates have pledged that they will not allow that to happen in their administrations, and we applaud them for making their views clear and making this promise to American women.”

The Presidential Promise to American Women, created by CWA and sent to all declared 2024 Republican and Democratic candidates, reads as follows:

Recent polling has revealed that most American women from all political demographics will vote for a president who will adamantly protect and acknowledge biological truths.
