Merry Christmas, and Thank You from CWA of Missouri! + Year-in-Review

By December 20, 2024Missouri

Dear Friends,

What a year! Hope is in the air as we look back at all we have accomplished this year and consider the possibilities ahead. We want to say a big THANK YOU for your friendship and support.

We praise God for each and every one of you!

The Christmas season, with its focus on the birth of Jesus Christ, is at the center of this hope. The Savior was born, died for our sins, rose from the grave, and reigns on high!

The words of 1 Peter 1:3 come to mind, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.”

It is that hope that keeps us energized, even in the midst of what others think is impossible. That is how we approached this election year, and we saw God move in miraculous ways.

But we couldn’t engage the way that we do without your help. YOU have gifted us with your time, talent, and/or treasure, and we are beyond grateful.

Let me list just a few of the things we were able to accomplish this year, thanks to you!

  • Educated our members with email alerts, push cards, speaking engagements, and a webinar discussing the harmful impact of Missouri’s Amendment 3 ballot measure with Mario Diaz, General Counsel and CWA Chief Operations Officer.
  • Delivered get-out-the-vote efforts via voter registration tables, voter information tables, email alerts, and speaking engagements including radio interviews.
  • Lobbied with CWA leaders and members during the Keep Missouri Pro-Life Day at the Missouri State Capital. Our members were at the capital in force to remind our legislators of the sanctity of life.
  • Supported Israel by gathering CWA leaders and members from across southwest Missouri to attend a CWA and Young Women for America Stand with Israel Prayer Vigil at College of the Ozarks. In addition, we were present during Holocaust Awareness Week in our support of Israel and the Antisemitism Education Center of the Ozarks in Branson, Missouri.
  • Conducted our Encourage-A-Legislator Program to encourage and pray for our state legislators. The legislative body was prayed for daily and received an encouraging postcard every month throughout the legislative session.
  • Worked to educate our members on issues impacting our state and nation monthly through our Prayer/Action Chapters.
  • Impacted and educated family, friends, and acquaintances through CWA influencers who worked diligently to share CWA via social media in their circles of influence.

2025, Here We Come!

We are believing in a God-sized vision for CWA of Missouri’s engagement for next year. Now is not the time to let up. We need to commit to prayer and action now more than ever. We have a great opportunity to exert generational transformation in the name of our Lord in the next year that will benefit our children and grandchildren. So, we will need your help! Please pray about what you can do and make yourself available to the Lord.

Please prayerfully consider making a final year-end, tax-deductible gift of $100, $50, $25, or other to continue the work here in Missouri. It will make a huge difference for our state! Send a check to the address below or contribute online.

And remember, let’s keep our eyes on that Blessed Hope; we will stand triumphant in His glory alone.

In His Service,

Tracy Dougan, State Director
