Mental Health of our Girls

In 2021, almost 60 percent of female high school students experienced “persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness.” One in four “fantasized a possible suicide plan,” according to a recent CDC report. In her latest op-ed published in Newsweek today, Penny Nance, Concerned Women for America’s CEO and President, says this should be a wake-up call, especially in light of the tragic shooting in Nashville, that we must address this mental health crisis.
