We are pleased to introduce Anne Marie Knizley, the new Utah State Director for Concerned Women for America (CWA). Anne Marie’s journey with CWA began in 2023 when she realized there were no Prayer/Action chapters in Utah. She and her mother, Mary Stewart, prayed and decided that even if it was just the two of them, at least they would be able to lay all their worries and concerns at the feet of Jesus together. However, it quickly grew into a faithful circle of prayer warriors! Over the last two years, this group has met for consistent intercession, an annual prayer walk in advance of Pride Month, a beloved annual Christmas Tea, and more.
Throughout 2025, the Lord was working in Anne Marie’s heart, placing a growing burden for the state of Utah. Simultaneously, we at the national office had the same growing burden and asked Anne Marie to join us in planning an event at the state Capitol. This brought Anne Marie to tears. Though she had never imagined herself serving as State Director, the Lord’s calling and timing were undeniable. By the end of the event, she knew it was time to take the next step.
Beyond her ministry, Anne Marie is a registered nurse with over two decades of experience. Her career has evolved from high-intensity cardiac and surgical care to a passionate focus on holistic healing under a Naturopathic MD. Her own journey toward wellness taught her the value of using God’s natural provisions for health—a perspective she now shares as a passionate advocate for a holistic way of life.
At home, Anne Marie is a devoted wife and a homeschooling mother to three daughters. Her favorite part of the homeschool day is when they spend time in the Word and read stories that inspire a deep, lasting love for God and Country.

“Through prayer, God started a small flame in the hearts of six women. I believe that through continued prayer, He will ignite a movement of women that will take the state of Utah by fire. God is on the move, and I simply want to be a part of it. Whether I am praying with my chapter, teaching my girls, or caring for my patients, my goal remains the same: to unify the Body of Christ so that the Lord may be glorified through His mighty works in my family’s lives and across the state of Utah.”
