I am pleased to introduce Kaleen Marshall, Concerned Women for America’s (CWA) new Illinois State Director. Kaleen joined the CWA of Illinois’ leadership team in early 2023, serving as a Prayer/Action Chapter Leader in Algonquin. We are grateful that Kaleen is willing to step into the director role.
Kaleen is a trained leadership coach, having studied alongside the John Maxwell team, and is a certified professional coach through Professional Christian Coaching Institute. She is the founder and CEO of The Viaggio Group Inc., a professional coaching and leadership consulting firm. Kaleen is also focused on leading and supporting adults with special needs, as well as their parents and caregivers, through critical life transitions. In her book Who Will Love Me, Kaleen describes her own personal journey with her sister who has Down syndrome.
Kaleen has also used her leadership skills in many areas of church ministry over the past decades. Stepping into the role of state director is a natural fit for Kaleen. Kaleen and her husband Wally reside in Algonquin, Illinois. They have two adult sons and Kaleen loves being a grandma to her granddaughter.
A note from Kaleen:
“I can see throughout my story that God has prepared me for “such a time as this.” Moving forward, to take the experiences I have had in church ministry and leadership and saturate Illinois with Prayer/Action Chapters will be a privilege. To call women to PRAY for the leaders in our state and then to take ACTION in the Illinois school systems and at the state legislature is the vision God has given me. Recently, speaking with a senator, I was told that Illinois is 47% conservative. This statistic has me filled with confidence that change will be made in this state through the women of CWA of Illinois!”
