Legislative Update for April 13, 2012

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

This week, both the House and Senate were out of session. Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee (CWALAC) took advantage of the congressional recess to organize our Project 535 volunteer lobby day. What is Project 535? Click here to learn more.

With ObamaCare and the conscience mandate as the hot topic on the Hill and in many American homes, next Wednesday, April 18, CWALAC volunteers will gather in D.C. to urge their representatives in the House to actively fight for our individual and religious freedoms. We have been asked by House and Senate leadership not to let this infringement of government trample our liberties.

CWALAC has heeded the call, and we are fighting against ObamaCare and safeguarding our First Amendment rights.

If you would like to participate, it’s not too late! Contact our National Project 535 Coordinator at apaolozzi@cwfa.orgby Tuesday, April 17.
