The 2024 elections are upon us, and we need your help to ensure that every eligible vote counts in Kansas! Here are ways to engage:
- Serve as challengers and watchers during early voting and on Election Day. Reach out to your local Republican or Democrat parties for information on qualifications and how to apply.
- Serve as Officer of Elections/Election Officer (poll workers.) Learn about Officers of Elections in Kansas and how to apply here. Use can also use the poll worker lookup tool to find information on being a poll worker in your community, including requirements, hours, pay, training, and more.
- Ensure Kansans are registered to vote. We have made it easy for you. Download our Conducting a Voter Registration Drive: Instructions and Helpful Tips.

Presidential Primary Election
- Tuesday, February 20 – Deadline to register to vote.
- Wednesday, February 28 – First day of advanced voting
- Monday, March 19 – Presidential Preference Primary
Primary Election
- Monday, June 3 (12:00 p.m.) – Deadline to change party affiliation.
- Tuesday, July 16 – Deadline to register to vote or update records.
- Wednesday July 17 – First day of advanced voting.
- Tuesday, August 6 – Primary Election. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
General Election
- Tuesday, October 15 – Deadline to register to vote.
- Wednesday, October 16 – First day of advanced voting.
- Tuesday, October 29 – Last day to apply for an advanced voting mail ballot.
- Tuesday, November 5, 2024 – General Election Day. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
