Kansas: Help Us Ensure Election Integrity

The 2024 elections are upon us, and we need your help to ensure that every eligible vote counts in Kansas! Here are ways to engage:

  1. Serve as challengers and watchers during early voting and on Election Day. Reach out to your local Republican or Democrat parties for information on qualifications and how to apply.
  2. Serve as Officer of Elections/Election Officer (poll workers.) Learn about Officers of Elections in Kansas and how to apply here. Use can also use the poll worker lookup tool to find information on being a poll worker in your community, including requirements, hours, pay, training, and more.
  3. Ensure Kansans are registered to vote. We have made it easy for you. Download our Conducting a Voter Registration Drive: Instructions and Helpful Tips.

Election Dates

Presidential Primary Election

  • Tuesday, February 20 – Deadline to register to vote.
  • Wednesday, February 28 – First day of advanced voting
  • Monday, March 19 – Presidential Preference Primary

Primary Election

  • Monday, June 3 (12:00 p.m.) – Deadline to change party affiliation.
  • Tuesday, July 16 – Deadline to register to vote or update records.
  • Wednesday July 17 – First day of advanced voting.
  • Tuesday, August 6 – Primary Election. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.

General Election

  • Tuesday, October 15 – Deadline to register to vote.
  • Wednesday, October 16 – First day of advanced voting.
  • Tuesday, October 29 – Last day to apply for an advanced voting mail ballot.
  • Tuesday, November 5, 2024 – General Election Day. Polls are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 pm.
