Springfield Prayer/Action Chapter
Holocaust Survivor Erica Schwartz
At our upcoming April 15 meeting, we will have the honor of hosting Erika Schwartz, a Holocaust survivor, as we partake in Holocaust Remembrance week at the Concerned Women (CWA) for America of Missouri Springfield Prayer/Action Chapter.
Erica was born in a Hungarian Nazi ghetto in April 1944, just one day before the ghetto was sealed. Of the entire family, Erika and her mother were the sole survivors of the Holocaust. She will recount the story of the murder of her entire family and how she was able to change her life from one of depression and anger to daily celebrations of gratitude and joy.
