There are moments in history when the people of God gather to pray, worship, and stand for truth. The upcoming California March for Life is one of those moments.
We invite you to join Concerned Women for America (CWA) of California as we host a Prayer and Praise Pre-Rally before the march begins.
Before thousands gather to march, we will begin the day the way believers have throughout Scripture – in prayer and worship.

- 11:00 a.m. – Prayer and Praise Pre-Rally
- 12:00 p.m. – Official Rally Program
- 1:00 p.m. – March through downtown Sacramento

If you plan to arrive the night before, please email me. We will be hosting a meet-and-greet dinner that evening. After the march, we will gather at the California State Capitol for a luncheon, lobbying, and prayer.
Throughout the Bible, prayer has been the turning point when God’s people sought His help and His presence. Scripture reminds us that God delights in the prayers of His people. Proverbs 15:8 says, “The prayer of the upright is His delight.” When believers pray with faith and humility, the Lord hears and moves.
Prayer changes things because prayer brings the power and presence of God into the situation.
Worship is also a powerful expression of faith. Psalm 22:3 reminds us that the Lord inhabits the praises of His people. When believers lift their voices in worship, we welcome His presence among us.
Throughout Scripture, worship has moved the heart of God and changed circumstances. When Paul and Silas worshiped and prayed in prison, the chains broke and the prison doors opened (Acts 16). When the people of God worshiped before battle, the Lord fought for them (2 Chronicles 20). Worship honors the Lord and declares that He alone is worthy.
The Lord delights in the worship of His people. Psalm 147:11 says, “The Lord delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.”
This is why we begin the California March for Life with prayer and worship. We are asking the Lord to move in our state – to heal hearts, strengthen families, and protect the dignity of every human life.
For decades, Concerned Women for America has been at the forefront of defending the sanctity of life. Through prayer chapters, advocacy, and faithful engagement in the public square, believers across California are standing for the unborn, supporting mothers in need, and strengthening families.
Across our state, prayer chapter members are faithfully interceding for pregnancy resource centers that serve women and families every day. They are praying over these centers, encouraging volunteers, and asking God to bring hope and protection to every mother who walks through their doors.

Your prayers matter. When believers pray together, the Lord moves. When believers worship together, His presence fills the place.
