Join Concerned Women for America of New York in Assisting Those Devastated by Hurricane Sandy

Dear fellow New Yorkers,

As you know, the needs are great and growing amongst those affected by the wreckage of Hurricane Sandy. It is estimated that as many as 40,000 people have been displaced in the U.S. because of Sandy and as many as 10,000 are in public shelters and schools in New York alone. Concerned Women for America of New York will be delivering supplies to those in need in the Staten Island, The Rockaways and Connie Island areas. Will you help us?

Please do what you can by dropping any of the following items at one of the scheduled drop-off points.

Diapers
formula
towels
washcloths
blankets
sleeping bags
soap
shampoo
toothpaste
toothbrushes
razors
spray deodorant

The money that has been collected will be used to purchase necessary supplies to assist the work of local churches with the displaced families and to pay for gas to transport the items to the affected areas.
