Recently, CWA of California joined the CHANGED Movement and California Family Council at the Capitol for Speak Out, a bold, two-day stand for truth, transformation, and the family.

The first day’s symposium featured medical experts who exposed the dangers of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and irreversible surgeries on minors.

On the second day, we gathered for prayer and a press conference, where we heard heart-wrenching testimonies from men and women who have left LGBTQ lifestyles and found healing through a deep understanding of Christ’s love and sacrifice.

We also met with legislators to pray and express concerns about policies that enforce radical gender ideology at the expense of free speech, parental rights, and religious liberty.

As we reflected on God’s faithfulness, we remembered 2018, when, through targeted lobbying and prayer, CWA helped defeat AB 2943, a bill that would have banned faith-based counseling. That victory reminds us of the power of speaking truth and putting faith into action.
