HB261 – NO EXCEPTIONS TO ABORTION IN LOUISIANA

“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves…”
– Proverbs 31:8-9

Tuesday, May 19, 2026, Rep. Delisha Boyd (D-District 102) will once again be presenting a bill, HB261, in the House Criminal Justice Committee that will attempt to allow exceptions to the current Louisiana law that prohibits abortion in the case of rape or certain acts that constitute certain sex offenses.

Passage of this bill could weaken existing abortion restrictions in Louisiana. Regardless of conception circumstances, the baby in the womb is innocent, and any exceptions would be an excuse to have an abortion.

Action:

Please act today by contacting the House Criminal Justice Committee members via the form below. You may also use this link. In addition, let them know you are a member of Concerned Women for America of Louisiana.

Pray:

Lord, guide the hearts of the legislators who are voting against pro-choice bills. May all who serve in public office seek truth and wisdom. Let them see the good of others above personal desires for gain. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
