What is the "Good News Campaign?"
The “Good News Campaign” is our initiative to share the hope of the Gospel on campuses and in communities nationwide. And we need your help to do it! Grab some friends, create a poster board, and choose a high traffic area in your community. With your sign held high and a smile on your face, ask your fellow community members to share some good news with you. Celebrate with them, then ask them if you could share your good news. Take this opportunity to walk them through the truth of the simple Gospel.

What is Our Good News?
There is a Creator, God, Who made the world with purpose, and it was good. Unfortunately, through our disobedience to God, that which we call sin, we brought darkness into this world – with this darkness came sorrow, pain, hardship, and loss. Instead of living the way God designed us to live, we chose our own ways. As a result, there grew a distance between God and man – one that separates us from Him and His goodness for all eternity.
But there is good news! This same God is rich in mercy and in love for us, His creation. Because of His love for us, He did not leave us in our despair that would lead to death and eternal separation from all that is good. God provided a way for redemption: His Son, Whom we call Jesus the Christ.
Jesus lived the sinless life that we couldn’t, died to pay the debt for the world’s sin, and rose back to life so that we could be restored to unity with God. This is a gift of life offered to us freely, because we could never earn it on our own.
We experience so much brokenness and hurt in this imperfect world, but because of Christ, not only do we have this free gift of eternal life, we also have a relationship with God that gives us hope, peace, and joy in spite of all we experience here on earth. Though we walk through seasons of trials and hardship, we believe God is our strength and comfort to persevere.
Our good news is that you can have new life through Christ, and it comes freely by accepting the sacrificial work of Jesus and turning to God and away from your sin.
Will you accept this good news as your own today? Simply admit to God that you are a sinner and you want to turn away from your sin. Tell God that you believe that Jesus is His Son and died for your sins and that you want to accept His forgiveness and His free gift of eternal life. Now, seek out a Bible-teaching church and tell someone about your decision so you can begin to grow in your relationship with Christ!
