Honoring Those Who’ve Honored Us With Their Sacrifice

CWA of Iowa invites you to help us honor our veterans.

We will thank the brave men and women who fought for our freedoms, remember those who paid the ultimate price, and honor those currently deployed and their families. Since 2007, CWA of Iowa has held this annual community Veteran’s Day event in gratitude to the brave soldiers fighting for our sovereignty, liberty, and security. CWA supports our troops!

Because 2011 marks the10th year of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, we’ll take a brief moment to honor our first responders, law enforcement, firefighters, and clergy.

Help us honor our actively deployed soldiers by sending a photo with their name, rank, and location of service to davis.bonita@yahoo.com by November 9. We’ll display their photo and ask their family members to stand so that we can honor them as well, because we understand when one serves, the whole family sacrifices. We want to encourage these brave families.

Join us for our Fifth Annual Veterans Event on Friday, November 11, 2011, at 7:00 p.m.

The Mary Jo Hoffman Memorial Homefront Award and the Glenn McDole Memorial Frontline Award will be presented.

Bill Federer from the American Minute will help us thank our Veterans and recording artists Stacie Ruth and Carrie Beth Stoelting will provide the National Anthem.

Come out and help us say “Thank You!” so our soldiers can see we have not forgotten their sacrifice, and if you know a veteran, please make sure they are aware of this event so we can say “Thank You!” to them.

Reservations are appreciated yet not required.
