It’s the home stretch for the Virginia election! On Tuesday, November 5, Virginians will go to the polls to cast their votes for the commonwealth-wide offices (governor, lieutenant governor, etc.) and for the members of the General Assembly.

Does your Virginia state legislator vote your values?

As President John Adams profoundly said, “It becomes necessary to every [citizen] then, to be in some degree a statesman, and to examine and judge for himself of the tendency of political principles and measures. Let us examine, then, with a sober, a manly . . . and a Christian spirit; let us neglect all party [loyalty] and advert to facts; let us believe no man to be infallible or impeccable in government any more than in religion; take no man’s word against evidence, nor implicitly adopt the sentiments of others who may be deceived themselves, or may be interested in deceiving us. ”

Incumbents make up 44 of 125 candidates in contested races this election, and they have voting records that show if they support or oppose your values.

Take a look at their voting records and make your vote an informed vote.
