Washington D.C. – Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee, the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, has endorsed Cindy Hyde-Smith for U.S. Senate for Mississippi. Sen. Hyde-Smith is running in a special election to retain the seat vacated by Sen Thad Cochran in April 2018 to which she was appointed by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant.
Penny Nance, CEO and President, said,
“Concerned Women for America Legislative Action Committee is proud to endorse Cindy Hyde-Smith, a champion of Mississippi values who embody America’s values. As the first woman to represent Mississippi in Washington, D.C., Sen. Hyde-Smith has proven herself a leader among her peers in the U.S. Senate, standing strong for due process and the presumption of innocence in confirming Justice Kavanaugh to the U.S. Supreme Court and standing courageously for the unborn and for American greatness at home and abroad. Conservative women need Cindy Hyde-Smith’s voice in the Senate for such a time as this. Cindy is a fighter for family values and committed to tackling the tough issues in Congress with hard work, courage, and integrity.
“Our members are honored to stand with Cindy Hyde-Smith in this election, confident that she will stand up for women across Mississippi and the nation who are passionate about protecting life, religious freedom, and our economic and national security. We want her to stay!”
