VICTORY IN THE HOUSE!

HB1112, the transgender bill, passed in the House yesterday with a vote of 45-23-2.  Check the votes here.  If your legislator voted NO, kindly express your disappointment.  If he voted YES, thank him.

The language of the bill has been amended so it is worth reading.

It states that:

  • Any new transgender policy must be approved by the legislature with a concurrent resolution.
  • The current transgender policy of the SDHSAA is void.
  • A student’s sex is determined by the chromosomes and the birth certificate.

HB1112 will now head to the Senate.

God bless you for your faithfulness in prayer and action.
