Concerned Women for America (CWA) of Missouri leaders and members from across the state, along with Young Women for America (YWA) School of the Ozarks Chapter President Madelyn Sestak, joined our pro-life allies at the annual Keep Missouri Pro-Life Rally Day on Tuesday. Team CWA met with pro-life legislators, thanking them for standing for life and also encouraging them to keep Missouri abortion free and to fight ongoing efforts to revive abortion in our state.
We had many opportunities to interact with like-minded women, men, and young people at the event. We had the privilege to speak with a group of high school students who recently started a pro-life chapter in their local high school. We encouraged them to continue the fight against pro-death voices and to stand firm in their faith. It was wonderful to see and hear their commitment to life!
We also were privileged to hear from special speaker Claire Culwell, International Pro-Life Speaker and Author of Survivor: An Abortion Survivor’s Surprising Story of Choosing Forgiveness and Finding Redemption. Ms. Culwell’s story of abortion survival was nothing short of miraculous. Ms. Culwell’s story reinforces our efforts to defend the sanctity of life.
We also enjoyed interacting with everyone who stopped by the CWA of Missouri table. We were delighted to have a gentleman stop and thank us for the pro-life resources readily available via our website. He stated he often uses the resources to educate family and friends.
