CWA of Maine Participates in Augusta National Day of Prayer Event

By May 6, 2016Maine

NDP Maine 2016 bNational Day of Prayer (NDP) was celebrated on May 5 by Concerned Women for America of Maine (CWA), NDP Maine Coordinators James and Donna Glaser, Co-Chair of the Legislative Prayer Caucus Rep. Dale Crafts (R-District 56), The Christian Civic League of Maine, and many Maine legislators and citizens in the Hall of Flags at the State House in Augusta at 9:00 a.m.

The Glasers divided the state up by our 16 counties and assigned those who wanted to pray for the individual counties.  CWA of Maine Director Penny Morrell prayed for God to guide and direct the Lincoln County leaders, town councils, firefighters, police, churches, etc., in the way they should go, to grant them wisdom, knowledge and understanding in the positions He placed them in, to do their work as unto Him; that their honesty and integrity be above reproach; and that they endeavor to restore the sanctity of life, traditional families, divine order and morality.

Because we know that if we will humble ourselves and pray and seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways, He will hear from heaven, forgive our sin and heal our land.  (II Chronicles 7:14).  May it be so.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen
