CWA of Hawaii Invites You to be Part of Their Fundraising to Send Leaders to Washington, D.C.

By April 2, 2015Hawaii

Concerned Women for America of Hawaii invites you to participate in our fundraising to help provide scholarships for two CWA of Hawaii leaders so they can attend a special CWA Leadership Training Conference in Washington, D.C. on June 18-20, 2015, held in partnership with Faith and Freedom Coalition. You are all invited to attend as well.

This will not be like any Leadership Training CWA has had in the past. There will be excellent speakers (most of the potential candidates for the presidency have already committed to be there), a gorgeous hotel and fellowship with so many like-minded individuals; it promises to be nothing short of exhilarating. Activities begin on Thursday, June 18, with a Legislative Luncheon on Capitol Hill; the luncheon is followed by lobbying activities. The day on the Hill ends with a Hill Reception that evening. Friday, June 19, at 9:00 a.m. is the first General Session; the sessions continue on Saturday. The conference ends with the Gala Awards Banquet Saturday evening, June 20.

It will cost about $2,750 for our two CWA leaders to attend the conference. If you can help with those expenses, please send your gift to the post office box below or go online at hi.cwfa.org and click on the “Donate to Your State” button under my picture. Your gift will be credited to CWA of Hawaii. Please add a note saying that your gift is for conference expenses.

If you would like to join us at the conference, go to www.roadtomajority.com/cwa. Be sure to use the promo code: CWA. Go to the bottom of the registration form and put in “CWA” for the promotional code and then click “apply”. This will pull up a registration form. Then, you can choose which tickets you want. It is very important that CWA friends and members register using the promotional code.

Thank you for considering our call for help with the conference expenses. I will be praying that you will be able to join us in Washington, D.C. in June.
