Washington, D.C. – Concerned Women for America (CWA), the nation’s largest public policy women’s organization, applauds President Donald J. Trump for achieving more in his first 100 days than any president in modern history. Through bold executive actions, President Trump has delivered on his campaign promises to “Make America Great Again,” restoring common sense, protecting women and girls, and advancing policies aligned with CWA’s core seven principles: sanctity of life, defense of family, education, religious liberty, national sovereignty, combating sexual exploitation, and support for Israel.

“President Trump has set a new standard for leadership, fulfilling his pledge to the American people with unmatched speed and resolve,” said Penny Young Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America. “His unwavering commitment to our values, especially in defending women’s dignity and safety, has made these first 100 days a resounding victory for families and faith. No president has moved so decisively to protect Americans, uphold faith, and restore common sense. From keeping men out of women’s sports to recognizing only two genders, President Trump has honored his promises to CWA and the American people.”

On January 20, 2025, President Trump signed Executive Order 14168, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government,” fulfilling his Presidential Promise to CWA. This landmark order establishes there are only two sexes—male and female—based on biological reality, rejecting radical gender ideology. It ensures government-issued identification, like passports, reflect biological sex and protects single-sex spaces, such as women’s shelters and prisons, aligning with CWA’s principles of sexual morality and family by safeguarding women’s privacy and safety.

On February 5, 2025, President Trump signed the “No Men in Women’s Sports” Executive Order, upholding Title IX’s original intent and banning biological males from competing in women’s sports. This action, supported by nearly 80% of Americans, protects female athletes’ opportunities and safety, resonating with CWA’s commitment to fairness and the sanctity of God-given biological distinctions.

These executive orders build on Trump’s Day One actions, which included over 25 orders addressing border security, energy independence, and deregulation. His administration has also taken steps to protect the sanctity of human life by prohibiting federal funding for gender-affirming care for minors, releasing pro-life prisoners jailed for peaceful protests, and signing an executive order enforcing the Hyde Amendment to ensure no federal funds support abortion services, aligning with CWA’s pro-life stance.

President Trump’s commitment to religious liberty shines through his establishment of the White House Faith Office on February 7, 2025, fostering an environment where Americans can freely practice their faith. This supports CWA’s mission to protect religious freedom as a cornerstone of a moral society.

In education, Trump has championed parental rights and school choice, signing orders to expand educational freedom and end radical indoctrination in K-12 schools. These actions empower families to guide their children’s education reflecting CWA’s belief in the family as the bedrock of society.

On national sovereignty, Trump’s swift action to secure the southern border through a national emergency declaration and resumed border wall construction protects American communities aligning with CWA’s principle of prioritizing national security.

President Trump’s opposition to tyranny is evident in his orders to end unconstitutional censorship by federal agencies and terminate wasteful diversity, equity, and inclusion programs, thus ensuring the government serves all Americans fairly. These steps combat ideological overreach, a key concern for CWA members.

CWA remains committed to working with the Trump administration to advance policies that strengthen families, protect life, and uphold Biblical values. We call on all Americans to join us in supporting these historic efforts to Make America Great Again! More information on 47’s accomplishments can be found here.
