Celebrating National Girls and Women in Sports Day

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

Concerned Women for America (CWA) was proud to partner with Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minnesota 6th) to celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day. At a time when sports competitions for women are being coopted by men who believe they are women, it is imperative for Members of Congress to continue to hear the sincere concerns of parents and female athletes.

Penny Nance, CEO and President of CWA, was present to thank the congressmen present for their leadership in protecting women’s sports.

CWA and Young Women for America (YWA) Ambassador, and NCAA volleyball athlete Macy Petty was there also, and said, “When women are forced to compete against biological males, it ultimately strips them from scholarship opportunities and playing time in a college setting – an issue that was supposed to have been settled 50 years ago with Title IX.”

Also joining the event were Riley Gaines, Kim Russell, and Paula Scanlan from Independent Women’s Forum.
