CWA of Missouri has made it a tradition to celebrate Constitution Day every year. It is a time to express thankfulness for the republic that was established in 1787 through the signing of the U.S. Constitution. To celebrate we present a gift to the members of the Missouri General Assembly and our statewide and federal office holders. The aim of these gifts is to help them understand, and/or be reminded of the importance of our beloved Constitution and the freedoms that it protects.

This year we will be presenting a poster of the U.S. Constitution, a pocket sized copy of the U.S. Constitution and the 28 Principles of Liberty card to each member of the Missouri General Assembly. The 22”X 34” poster contains the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, Amendments 11-27, and on the back, the Constitution at a Glance (an easy reference to the Constitution). The 46 page pocket size constitution is excellent for keeping it handy, and the Principles Card is based on the twenty-eight principles the Founders used to frame our Constitution and form our republic.

Please support this project and the work that CWA of Missouri does by donating a gift of $10 or more.

Sponsorships need to be sent in by Friday, September 7. On Wednesday, September 12, we will present the gift to your member of the Missouri General Assembly with a note regarding your sponsorship. Please make check payable to “CWA” and write “CWA of Missouri” on the memo line. Send to P.O. Box 1352, St. Peters, MO 63376.
