One of the clear choices on the ballot this presidential election was the type of Justices of the Supreme Court the American people want.
After the passing of Justice Scalia, Senate leadership said they would let the people have a voice on the type of Justice they wanted by urging them take it into account as they selected the next president.
Well, the American people have spoken loud and clear by electing Donald Trump, saying they want another justice in the mold of Scalia — a judge who will abide by the constitution as written, instead of believing in that pernicious philosophy of a living, breathing constitution.
Let us commit the matter to prayer as President-elect Trump considers this important replacement.
