Judge Neil Gorsuch hit it out of the park at his confirmation hearings last week. Here he is describing his unapologetic respect for the law in his opening remarks:
[AUDIO CLIP] Judge Neil Gorsuch: Sometimes the answers we reach aren’t the ones we personally prefer. Sometimes the answers follow us home at night. But the answers we reach are always the ones we believe the law requires. And for all its imperfections, I believe that the rule of law in this nation truly is a wonder. And that it is no wonder that it’s the envy of the world.
Democrats tried to trip him, seeking to appease their base, but their efforts were futile. Gorsuch was winsome, poised and humble — a devastating combination for them.
It’s time to confirm Gorsuch without delay.
