Here is Judge Neil Gorsuch, President Trump’s choice to take over the seat held by the late, great Justice Antonin Scalia at the Supreme Court:

[AUDIO CLIP] Judge Neil Gorsuch: I respect, too, the fact that in our legal order it is for Congress, and not the courts, to write new laws. It is the role of judges to apply, not alter, the work of the people’s representatives. … A judge who likes every outcome he reaches is very likely a bad judge … stretching for results he prefers, rather than those the law demands.

That’s why we feel confident in supporting Judge Gorsuch’s nomination to the Supreme Court.  These comments are not something he is saying for convenience now.  He has a record of judicial decisions that match this wise commitment to the law.

Our next Supreme Court justice will shape America’s future for generations to come. Judge Neil Gorsuch will uphold conservative, constitutional values. Tell the Senate to confirm him by signing our petition at www.CapitolHillBrief.org today. If you’d like to hear these commentaries on the radio, find me on your local radio station.
