I speak to you with a heavy heart today, having learned that a young woman, an illegal immigrant minor, has succeeded in her quest to force the U.S. government to facilitate the abortion of her unborn child.
The Trump Administration tried every way they could to prevent such a dangerous precedent from being set, but the ACLU, as is usually the case, went to court and got the D.C. Circuit to force the Administration to facilitate the abortion.
So, we enter a new shameful era in our nation’s history. If a minor wants to circumvent parental authority or her country’s laws, she can come to the U.S. illegally to procure an abortion free of charge. Let us pray for our nation.
