Capitol Hill Brief — A Gavel, Not a Rubber Stamp

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

During His confirmation hearings, Judge Neil Gorsuch commented on his role as a judge by saying “They gave me a gavel, not a rubber stamp.” And that, “Nobody is above the law,” no matter what their social status.

Members of both parties have nothing to fear from a judge like that — one who puts the law above partisan politics. He said his style of judging would be to consider “the law and the facts of each particular case.”

Concerned Women for America has been encouraging senators of both parties to realize that voting to confirm Gorsuch makes sense — both politically and ideologically.  Gorsuch stands for the preservation of the American order and would make a great addition to our highest court.

Our next Supreme Court justice will shape America’s future for generations to come. Judge Neil Gorsuch will uphold conservative, constitutional values. Tell the Senate to confirm him by signing our petition at www.CapitolHillBrief.org today.  If you’d like to hear these commentaries on the radio, find me on your local radio station.
