Branson Prayer/Action Chapter
Holocaust Survivor Erika Schwartz
If there is any part of history that has forever touched my life, it has been the study of the Holocaust. It is an atrocity we should never forget and a lesson we should teach our children and grandchildren. As a part of our remembrance, I would invite you to join us in commemoration of the Holocaust during Holocaust Education and Awareness Week. During this week, the Concerned Women (CWA) for America of Missouri Branson Prayer/Action Chapter will host Holocaust Survivor Erika Schwartz.
Erika Schwartz was born in a Hungarian Nazi ghetto in April 1944, just one day before the ghetto was sealed. Of the entire family, Erika and her mother were the sole survivors of the Holocaust. She will recount the story of the murder of her entire family and how she was able to change her life from one of depression and anger to daily celebrations of gratitude and joy.
