Washington, D.C. — House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) announced the eight Republicans to serve on the Select Investigative Panel that “will focus on grisly practices of big abortion providers.” Concerned Women for America CEO and President Penny Nance had this to say:

“We are grateful to Speaker Boehner for his dedication to this matter and commend him for carefully selecting members for this important committee. We thank Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Chairman (R-Tennessee), Rep. Joe Pitts (R-Pennsylvania), Rep. Diane Black (R-Tennessee), Rep. Larry Bucshon (R-Indiana), Rep. Sean Duffy (R-Wisconsin), Rep. Andy Harris (R-Maryland), Rep. Vicki Hartzler (R-Missouri), and Rep. Mia Love (R-Utah) for serving. Concerned Women for America hopes that through this investigation the truth will be found and the American public will be informed of the grave deceit and culture of death that is being advocated with taxpayer dollars.

“The videos of Planned Parenthood selling babies’ hearts, livers, lungs, and brains to line their own pockets shocked Americans to the core.  Further discovery that Planned Parenthood spends $14,000 per day on travel expenses clearly shows their own profits are paramount to the organization and not women’s health. It is important for this committee to investigate how Planned Parenthood is spending American taxpayers’ monies and particularly whether they are guilty of any criminal wrongdoing.”
