Bill Kristol, Reuven Azar, and Benham Brothers Confirmed to Speak at “Stand with Israel” Rally

CWALAC_MediaStatement

WASHINGTON, D.C.— Concerned Women for America and America Takes Action, Gov. Mike Huckabee’s organization, are excited to announce that Bill Kristol, Editor of Weekly Standard, Reuven Azar, Deputy Head of Mission at the Israeli Embassy, and David and Jason Benham, Founders of Benham Companies, will give remarks at the “Stand with Israel” rally to be held on October 5, 2014 in Washington D.C.

The rally seeks to highlight the threat of global terrorism and the movement in the Middle East to squelch the nation of Israel.

“Recent events have reminded me that the world is a very dangerous place to both the nation of Israel and for Jews around the world,” Penny Nance, CEO and President of Concerned Women for America said. “The violence wrought by Hamas, coupled with the jaw dropping anti-Semitic reaction by much of the Western world, should awaken American Christians to the clear and present danger to our allies and our friends. Now is the time for us to stand firm and show Israel and her enemies that Americans are united in our unwavering support.”

“It’s time for the United States to join together in prayer and support for Israel,” said Gov. Mike Huckabee. “I have been to Israel nearly 30 times over the past 41 years and have never seen the nation under such threat. Israel is our closest ally and friend in the Middle East, and they are suffering due to the weak policies of the Obama Administration. The president has done little to recognize the growing threat of Hamas. God has protected this tiny, but increasingly powerful nation, and it’s time for the United States to do the same. Please join me in Washington, D.C., on October 5 to show Israel that we are with them and we pray for peace.”
